Redesign Opensea peer-to-peer marketplace for NFTs, digital items, and crypto collectibles.
For this project, my main role was that of a UI Designer. I had a total of two weeks of time to design the UI for the NFT marketplace. I had a total time of two weeks to design this UI for the competition and I choose to use Figma as my base software design the UI. While I didn't win the competition but I definitely learned a few things about Figma and have been using it ever since. Having no experience with NFT's I started with a case study for Opensea before starting to design for this project
My role here was that of a UI designer, where two weeks was the deadline to create a responsive platform where the user can deal with buying, selling & bidding on art collectibles. It was my responsibility to make sure this interface is not just a fancy design but practically possible to be developed. I had to make the components, elements & iconography for the project
I had my first-time experience of competing in the UI design competition. Overall the experience was overwhelming by observing different types of design solutions for the same problem statement and understanding what did the designers think and why did they make those design decisions
I learned new skills for designing in Figma. In the two weeks of time, I learned a new workflow for making User Interfaces. The competition helped me understand the expectations of a design case study, learn a new design tool, and get valuable feedback
